This project was a great time, mostly
because of my group members (Isabella and Christine). I think that our
Visual Creative Writing project was a pretty different from everyone else’s,
mainly because of the setting of the story, Fahrenheit 451. It was set in a
dark, dystopian future, where books and other things that make people think for
themselves are banned. This made for a particularly interesting process when we
made this project, simply because the subject was a book that was about banned
books. It was also different from the rest of the presentations because of our
reliance on images in the presentation, rather than text on the screen. We
tried to explain the story, and our reflection on the story, with images, and
only use thoughts from the top of our heads to try and enhance that
presentation. The hardest thing about the process of creating the presentation,
but also the most entertaining, was the creation of the little comic strip at
the end of the project. It was difficult because we had to think of our own
story, and we had to stop being distracted by the fun software used to create
the comic.
